Before and After School Skills Programs

Players who would like to continue to improve their skills on a more regular basis outside of their team practices are encouraged to participate in weekly sessions offered by Excellence Ringuette either before or after school. The focus of these programs is individual skill development as the girls are encouraged to work on new skills in a fun environment.

New participants would be welcomed starting in the new year, as the programs continue until April.

Sessions are held as follows:

  • Tuesday mornings: 7:30 am to 8:20 am at the Pointe Claire Arena for students in secondary school
  • Tuesday afternoons: 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Pointe Claire Arena for students in grades 3 to Sec 5
  • Thursday mornings: 7:30 to 8:20 am at the Pointe Claire Arena for students in grades 3 to grade 6

If you would like to see what it is all about, you can try a session or two at any time to see for yourself how much the girls enjoy themselves.

Girls can register to attend once or twice per week, and part-time enrollment is also possible if that is easier for your family.

In addition to the weekly sessions, players are invited to participate in one tournament during the season, once tournament in early summer and this year 16 lucky players went to Finland to play in a tournament! The next Finland trip is currently being planned for summer 2013.
